The best hide price app on Shopify depends on what a hidden price should do next: ask guests to log in, open to approved wholesale buyers, or become a quote request. We compared 10 apps with at least 100 reviews on the Shopify App Store, using only their listings as of October 4, 2026.

“Type” is our grouping from each listing’s headline, not the vendor’s label. Lock apps decide who may see a price. How we chose these 10 apps

We built the list on October 4, 2026 in four steps, so you can repeat it:

1. Search. We searched the Shopify App Store (English) for seven phrases: “hide price” (first three result pages), “hide prices”, “hide price add to cart”, “login to see price”, “login to view price”, “hide price wholesale” and “price hidden guest”.
2. Scope. We kept apps whose listing names hiding prices as a feature. We left out full wholesale and pricing suites where hiding a price is one add-on among many, and apps that only look related, such as sticky Add to cart bars or OTP login.
3. Threshold. We required at least 100 reviews and a rating of at least 4.5 on the listing. That left exactly ten apps, including ours. Newer or smaller apps with fewer than 100 reviews are not judged here, and some of them may suit you well.
4. Facts. Name, developer, rating, review count, plan prices, free options and features are copied from each app’s listing. We did not install or test the nine other apps, so we describe what the vendor says, not how it performs. Links to competitor listings are plain App Store links, with no tracking or affiliate parameters.

BSS B2B Solution and BSS B2B Quote are not in the list: hiding prices is a BSS B2B Lock feature, and the other two apps are covered where they pair with it. Apps from earlier versions of this article that no longer meet the threshold were dropped, and apps that were renamed appear under their current listing name. Lock apps or quote apps: which type fits?

• You want only approved buyers to see prices. Start with the lock apps (1, 3, 5, 6, 7). They hide the price from guests and reveal it by login, customer tag, passcode or similar rules. See Hide wholesale prices from guest visitors.
• You want a hidden price to start a conversation. The quote apps (2, 4, 8, 9, 10) replace the price with a Request a Quote button and a form. See Add a Request a Quote button and hide the price.
• You want both. A quote app that can hide prices covers both in one app. With BSS, you pair BSS B2B Lock with BSS B2B Quote.

Shopify does not document a built-in setting for hiding the regular price from guests. Its B2B plan table has no such row, and its blended store checklist says that to hide entire pages from D2C customers or anyone who is not logged in, you can use third-party apps to lock parts or all of your store. Facts in each entry are from the app’s Shopify App Store listing as of October 4, 2026. “Worth checking” lists limits that follow from the listing itself.

1. Sami B2B Lock,Password Protect

Lock. Developer Samita. Rating 4.9 from 979 reviews. Free plan: one lock, and all features free on development stores. Paid plans: $9.99 (Shopify Basic), $19.99 (Grow) and $29.99 (Advanced) per month, with a 15-day free trial. Listing.

The listing describes locks that hide the price and Add to cart button, restrict pages and URLs, or lock the whole website. Visitors can get in through account login, a passcode or a secret link, and a lock can target customer tags or email addresses. Paid plans add Hide price on Google, date and time limits and third-party app integrations.

Worth checking: The free plan is limited to one lock. Samita also publishes the quote app in position 4.

2. QS Request a Quote, Hide Price

Quote + hide price. Developer Quote Snap. Rating 4.8 from 703 reviews. Free plan: 10 quote requests a month with basic Hide Price and Add to Cart. Paid plans: Starter $16.99, Pro $36.99 and Shopify Plus $96.99 per month, with a 3-day free trial. Listing.

A quote app first. It adds a Request a Quote button to product and collection pages with a form you customize, live negotiation, a margin view on each quote and conversion to a PDF or draft order. For call-for-price, the listing says you can hide prices and Add to Cart anywhere in the store. Advanced Hide Price and Add to Cart starts on the Starter plan.

Worth checking: Quote volume is capped by plan (10 a month on Free, 50 on Starter). Price negotiation with discount caps is listed under the Shopify Plus plan. The listing shows English only.

3. BSS B2B Lock, Login & Password (our app)

Lock. Developer BSS B2B Suite, which is the BSS B2B Solutions team: we make this app. Rating 4.9 from 651 reviews. Free plan: lock the entire website by condition. Paid plans, by Shopify plan: $9.99 (Basic), $24.99 (Grow), $49.99 (Advanced) and $79.99 (Shopify Plus) per month, with a 7-day free trial. Listing. Details: BSS B2B Lock.

What it does. You build a lock from rules. A rule picks a target: price, Add to cart, both, a product, variant, vendor, collection, page, URL or the entire store. It then picks who gets in: signed-in customers, customer tags, specific customers, approved access requests, passcodes, secret links, email, a date range, a URL parameter or Shopify B2B company conditions. A lock can hold 10 rules with 10 conditions each. Conditions inside a rule must all match, and separate rules work as alternatives. Guests see your message with a login or sign-up form, and passcodes can be imported from a CSV file.

Hiding prices. You can hide the price and Add to cart, keep the price and hide only the button, or hide the price and disable the button. An optional Hide price on Google search setting makes prices less likely to appear in results. It can take up to 24 hours, your store must be public, and it does not remove the page from Google. Where it fits with other BSS apps. BSS B2B Solution adds the registration form, approval and customer tags, and a lock rule can read that tag (BSS guide: registration tags). BSS B2B Quote adds the quote form that Lock does not have. See Show products only to tagged customers for the tag flow.

Where BSS B2B Lock trails.

• Price rules are not free. The free plan only locks the entire website. Hiding prices and Add to cart needs a paid plan or the 7-day trial.
• Not the cheapest start. Four other apps in this list start at $9.99 or less (positions 1, 6, 7 and 8).
• No quote form inside Lock. A visitor who should ask for a price needs BSS B2B Quote, a separate app, or one of the quote apps above.
• It installs code in your theme. The BSS guide says the code is written into the theme, not only added through an app embed. Test on a duplicate theme. Headless storefronts are not supported.
• Checkout lock is Shopify Plus only. It also needs a paid BSS plan and runs as a Shopify Function that does not block checkout if the function fails, so do not rely on it as a guarantee.
• Some rules are display controls. IP, region and country conditions run in the browser and can be spoofed. Request-access approvals sync through a queue, so they are not instant.

4. SA Request a Quote, Hide Price

Quote + hide price. Developer Samita. Rating 4.9 from 646 reviews. Free (Basic) plan: Request a Quote, an editable email template and an automatic email for new quotes. Paid plans: Premium $16.99 and Pro $36.99 per month (Pro is $69 on Shopify Plus), with a 7-day free trial. Listing.

Buyers add products to a quote in one click from collection, product and cart pages. The listing also says you can require login to see prices, hide prices by tag, vendor or collection, hide Add to Cart, and use the app with B2B companies and catalogs. Pro adds convert to order, quote export and file upload in the form.

Worth checking: Hide price and Hide Add to Cart are listed on Premium and above, not on the free plan.

5. Locksmith

Lock. Developer Lightward. Rating 4.7 from 306 reviews. No free plan is listed. Suggested prices by Shopify plan: $12 (Basic), $29 (Grow), $99 (Advanced) and $199 (Plus) per month, under Lightward’s pay-what-feels-good policy, with a 15-day free trial. Listing.

Locksmith works with locks and keys. A lock restricts or hides content, and the listing says you can hide products, collections, prices, variant options and pages, or lock the entire store. Keys grant access by customer account tags, email addresses, passcodes, secret links, location, purchase history or date and time, and you can add custom logic with Liquid or the vendor’s API. The listing also mentions bot protection at checkout through Checkout Validation.

Worth checking: The listing says it controls access in the Online Store channel, shows English only, and describes the app as developer friendly. It has no quote form.

6. Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B

Lock. Developer Easy Lockdown Inc. Rating 4.5 from 237 reviews. Free on development stores, with all paid features. One paid plan: Premium at $9 per month, with a 14-day free trial. Listing.

The listing describes limiting access to pages, products, collections, blogs and the cart. For prices, it names a Login to see price feature that hides prices from the general public. You can grant access by number of orders or money spent, combine rules from customer information, and lock or exclude products by tag.

Worth checking: Free use is for development stores only, and there is a single paid plan. Its 4.5 rating is the lowest of the ten.

7. Wholesale Lock Manager: B2B

Lock. Developer Wholesale Helper. Rating 4.9 from 220 reviews. Free for development and trial stores. Paid plans: $9.99 (Shopify Basic), $16.99 (Grow) and $24.99 (Advanced) per month, with a 7-day free trial. Listing.

The listing says it hides the price and Add to cart button until approved B2B customers log in, and can hide products, collections, pages, URLs or the full storefront by customer group. It also lists password-protected pages, secret links, testing locks on unpublished themes, hiding products from site search and Google, and protecting free products from bot checkouts.

Worth checking: The free tier is for development and trial stores, so a live store pays from the Basic plan. The three paid plans list the same features and differ by Shopify plan.

8. AI Request a Quote, Hide Price

Quote + hide price. Developer SetuBridge. Rating 4.8 from 194 reviews. Lite plan is free: 50 quote requests, Hide price and Add to Cart, and a Powered by logo. Paid plans: Startup $7.99, Growth $12.99 and Premium $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial. Listing.

The listing says you can hide price and Add to Cart by product, collection, tag or customer group, or show the price on request. It also lists a multi-step quote form, quotes by WhatsApp or phone, PDF quotes, conversion to draft orders and, on higher plans, AI lead-quality scoring, spam protection and integrations such as HubSpot, Klaviyo and Zapier.

Worth checking: Quote requests are capped: 50 in total on Lite, 50 a month on Startup, 500 on Growth. Premium is unlimited. The Lite plan shows a Powered by logo.

9. S: Request a Quote, Hide Price

Quote + hide price. Developer Storeify. Rating 5.0 from 125 reviews. Free plan: quick quote requests, submission management and form and email customization. Paid plans: Startup $12.99, Pro $24.99 and Advanced $36.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial. Listing.

The listing says you can add a quote button or form to any product, collection, home or search page and show it by product, collection, type, vendor, tag, out-of-stock status, language or country. Hide price, quantity and Add to cart, plus login to see price, are listed from the Startup plan. Pro adds auto-approve quotes, automatic draft orders and quote-to-PDF.

Worth checking: Hiding prices is a paid-plan feature. The listing shows English only.

10. Quotify: Request a Quote (RFQ)

Quote-first. Developer AppHive. Rating 4.9 from 105 reviews. No free plan is listed. Paid plans: Premium $17 and Pro $34 per month, or Pro Lifetime for a one-time $700, with a 7-day free trial. Listing.

A quote-first app with unlimited quote requests, a form builder, proposal management, cart-to-quote and automatic draft orders. The Premium plan lists Hide add to cart and price. Pro adds price lists, Zapier, Klaviyo, HubSpot, a REST API and webhooks.

Worth checking: Hiding prices is one feature inside a quote workflow, not a rule system for who may see which price. There is no free plan.

Before you install any hide price app

These checks apply to every app above. They are about picking, not setting up. For setup, use our hide prices guide.

• Check the plan you will actually pay for. Several free plans exclude hide price or cap it, and some free tiers are for development stores only.
• Test on a duplicate theme. Lock and hide apps change what your theme prints. Check your own theme, any page builder and every place a price shows, including search and quick view.
• Decide what a guest should see. A login prompt, a request-a-quote button or nothing at all. That choice often decides lock app or quote app.
• Test three visitors. A guest, a logged-in customer without the tag and a logged-in customer with it, each in a private window.
• Ask what stays behind. After a trial, uninstall and check your theme for leftover code, and ask the vendor how removal works.
• Plan for search. If prices must stay out of Google, check whether the app offers a setting for it, and read what that setting does not do.

What no hide price app can do

Hiding a price changes what your storefront shows. Shopify’s Ajax Product API returns product and variant prices without authentication, so a determined visitor can still find a price through routes the app does not change.
