What stays in Shopify

Customer records and orders live in Shopify. If your wholesale buyers carry a tag, point BSS rules at that tag rather than retagging, since BSS matches tags case-insensitively and any one tag is enough. Check a few customers first to confirm how their tags were set.

What does not carry over

Anything specific to the old app, such as guest discounts. A quick order page or locks you relied on become BSS B2B Quote or BSS B2B Lock if you still need them. Markets and POS pricing need a BSS plan that includes them: check the plan table before you switch.

Avoid pricing a buyer twice
